just because it listed the ‘bluetooth devices’ category in device manager, doesn’t mean it’s equipped with one. plus, the particular model she has access to may be the one w/ bluetooth, unlike the current model being sold.

fairly certain the one being sold right now does NOT have bluetooth. not really sure why there’s so much fuss on the specs, the discount price was still fairly competitive… the optical drive issue should have been obvious.

Damn it! You know I wasn’t real concerned about the x4500 graphics. However, I was concerned about Bluetooth. This morning I was told by a CSR that the S10 will not have Bluetooth yet looking at the image above it clearly does. I went and ordered a USB Bluetooth dongle in anticipation of receiving the S10. So which is it Lenovo!

Not surprised.

Guess I’ll probably stick to my 1000H (typing on it now in fact). I’ll wait till next summer and see what’s out, then upgrade to a new netbook. For $500 or less, I can easily justify selling the old one and buying a new one each year.

I wonder – what will netbooks be like a year from now?

at first they add an CDRW/DVDROM to the red one, with a 15% discount coupon totaling in 373.15. now, they are all gone. with this current specs, i rather pick aspire one instead. what a shame…
