iVOICE Unveils Bluetooth Devices With Full Name CallerID And More
January 8th, 2009 by K. T. Bradford
iVOICE is introducing three new Bluetooth products that utilize their Intelligent Voice Operator technology. The Diamond-X and GX-7 Dual Mic headsets and the R1 Solar Handsfree Kit are the world’s first Bluetooth devices that will report the name of the caller (not just their number) from the user’s phonebook. Beyond this unique innovation, iVOICE’s new Bluetooth products incorporate the advanced noise cancellation, multi-microphone noise suppression and echo reduction they’re known for plus mobile business and eco-friendly solutions. The R1 Solar Bluetooth Handsfree Kit is a portable car speakerphone equipped with a solar panel — 8 hours in the sun will give you 60 hours of talk time. Users can control the device and their phone via voice prompts and conduct a conference call from anywhere. The dual mics are designed to pick up voices from as far as 30 feet away with their 360 degree array. Users can also choose Isolation Mode, which will only pic up voice in one microphone (aimed at the driver’s seat).
The Diamond-X Dual Mic Bluetooth headset is designed with advanced noise cancelling technology in its dual microphone setup. One mic optimizes speech intelligibility, the other to removes background noise. The set also includes iVOICE’s Intelligent Auto Volume Control to auto-adjust levels depending on environmental conditions. The Handsfree Kit is set to retail for $119 and the headset for $99. Both will be available by the end of January on Amazon.
