Looks like today is the day for colorful mice. Today, Microsoft announced plans to release its Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 ($29.95) in five special edition colors: Pomegranate (red), dragon fruit (dark pink), aloe (green), milk chocolate (brown), and crème brûlée (khaki). The mouse, which Microsoft claims is the number one bestselling in the country, has a snap-in USB transceiver, is right- and left-hand friendly, and has sculpted finger grooves.

The rest of you will have to wait until June to get your hands on these special-edition mice, but we’ve had one for weeks now. Watch as, at long last, Todd tears through the packaging in record time (and gets so excited he forgets to start the timer). For those too lazy to count Mississippi’s, it’s 19 seconds.
