First the white iPhone was confirmed, now a rough timeline for the iPhone 5 has been revealed. Reuters reports that Apple will begin production on the next-gem smart phone in June or July and will begin shipping the device in September.
The news agency cites three anonymous people as its sources for the shipping date, but this timeline falls in line with a recent wave of rumors claiming the iPhone 5 will not be released in June (as previously suspected).
According to the unnamed sources, Apple’s next iteration of the smart phone will retain largely the same look of the iPhone 4. No other specifics were leaked along with the September release date, but we’re sure there’s more info to come.
