Filed away for future claim chowder.

  2. Lucas Says:

Half that stuff is vaporware. The rest is just a joke. You really think losing a few thousand kids matters when the same if not more grandparents and parents are buying. That is if the claim is even true.

    This list is a joke

  3. Andrea Freeland Says:

Well, iTunes is starting to miff podcasters. It changed something w/ iTunes 10.6 or whatever that causes iTunes NOT to remember podcast logins and passwords. They’ve ignored users’ pleas; the problems hasn’t been addressed in the last 4 releases. Podcasters pay for content and don’t want it f*ed w/. Apple, people are actively searching for alternatives.

I bought my last two music purchases elsewhere as well, because there was nearly a 10% difference in cost.

Not saying anything, I’m just saying…

RE: Lucas’ comment: I work w/ a bunch of volunteers for local campaigns. It pulls in seniors who retired early (with good incomes/retirement). They are absolutely Apple adopters. Apple’s needs to watch its six.

    You forgot 2 entries

    11. Windows Phone 8 – Nokia, Samsun and HTC are vying to be a credible third mobile OS option and carriers want them to succeed to help their bottom line. Carriers make less money per iPhone and every Android or Windows phone. They need someone thing reign in Apples greed and a successful third OS is the ticket

    12. iPhone5 and IOS6 – A bungled release of a phone and software. The iPhone 5 hardware does not even catch up with competing Android and Windows Phones in terms of screen size and resolution. There are also glaring omissions like NFC. We can all agree that the iPhone 5 is the best iPhone EVER but it doesn’t surpass or in many cases cacth up with non Apple hardware. IOS6 (like the iPhone5) is not innovative and only offers incremental changes along with a myriad of problems from the camera, wifi connection issues, iMaps fiasco, auto typing …

  6. Zachary Bell Says:

Threat #3- Lenovo- is going to be HUGE compared with the rest of the threats. In fact, they have already surpassed Apple and have nearly caught Samsung… and that’s just with their Android phones. If they launched an affordable Windows Phone here in the States, and brought some of their Android devices here, they could truly knock Apple off of their home turf, and perhaps take Samsung along for the ride.

11 and 12 are also credible threats:
