IDF Starts Today; Stay Tuned for The News
August 19th, 2008 by Joanna Stern
The Intel Developer Forum (IDF) kicks off this morning and I am here in San Fransisco to cover it all. What does the world’s biggest computer chip maker have up its sleeve for the next two days? We are guessing a whole lot from the packed schedules and the atmosphere here. No doubt that the company will be talking at length about its new Core i7 processor (or formerly codenamed Nehalem platfom). In addition, the company is planned to shed details on its release of solid state drives. We are also fairly confident they will let the details roll on the next Intel Classmate PC. Oh and let’s not forget the rumors of a dual core Atom processor. But enough with the rumors, keep your browser at blog.laptopmag.com for more news from the Moscone Center.
