I have mine.
I love it.
it shipped with the 5800 mAh battery.
the only problem I have is with the webcam application in the linux version of the 900, it straight up blows chunks.

i know it is not a hardware problem because the webcam on the 900 XP was sterling on the floor model.

this is an ogg vorbis video codec problem. as it is, its seconds per frame, instead of frames per second.

I've sent Asus two emails about this issue hoping they'll resolve it.

otherwise i'm going to throw ubuntu on it and be done with the xandros.

but again, i love the laptop otherwise, and it turns heads and attracts attention.

a beautiful woman like joanna stern is used to that kind of attention, but I am not--just a regular guy.

I've ordered my E900 from PC World for £313 (with a voucher) and it arrives this Monday morning. I decided against waiting for the Atom chipped E900. The promise of a longer battery life isn't a sure thing especially as the first Atom UMPCs don't seem to offer this. Anyway, my main laptop can now stay at home and my E900 with mobile internet from 3 can come with me everywhere - I can't wait for Monday :o)

Looking forward to getting my XP PC 900 tomorrow. I have the 701 but the screen is just too small and the mouse pad? Pffff.
Hopefully the 900 will be more PC :)

The hp Mini Note gave you a hunchback and a squint.

Will this one give you gnarled fingers with its smaller keyboard?
