HTC is offering a compelling bargain for those looking to upgrade their smartphone this holiday season. The company’s recently announced Black Friday deal offers the flagship HTC One for $29.99 on a two-year contract with Verizon or Sprint.
The deal is valid Nov. 29 through Nov. 30, but buyers also have the option of purchasing the One for $49.99 today through Dec. 7 on contract with either carrier. The discount is part of HTC’s holiday promotional campaign in which contestants submit photos to be featured on the company’s billboard in Times Square. Each contestant is eligible to win an HTC One every week for the next five weeks, and two winners will receive a $2,500 25 karat gold plated HTC One. Those interested can submit their images through HTC’s website here.
The deal is certainly appealing, but it’s far from being the only alluring Black Friday smartphone sale. Best Buy is offering Samsung’s Galaxy S4 for free on a two-year contract with Verizon Nov. 28-30th. However, if your contract hasn’t expired yet you’ll have to pay the $350 early termination fee.
