HTC Incredible S Coming April 7, Samsung Galaxy II in May According to Leaked Verizon Roadmap

Looks like the next few months are going to be a busy time for Verizon and Android. A leaked roadmap details plans to release 8 Android smart phones in the next 2 months. The next generation of the HTC Incredible, the Incredible S, will drop on April 28 (see our hands on). Rewinding a bit, April 7 will bring the semi-rugged Casio Commander (pictured right) and the Samsung Charge, Verizon’s second 4G LTE smart phone (top left).

One week later, the long-awaited Sony Xperia Play lands, followed by the the Windows 7-packing HTC Trophy on April 15. The only phone to get a “hard” release date in May is the LG Revolution, another Verizon phone with 4G LTE wired in.  Later that month, Verizon has loose plans to release three 4.3-inch super phones: the dual-core Droid Bionic , the Tegra 2-packing Droid X 2, and the Samsung Galaxy II (bottom left), a follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy S with a dual-core  Samsung CPU,  full HD recording, and the familiar Super AMOLED display.

Throw in coming 4G broadband attractions like the Novatel Mifi 4510L, the Samsung Mifi SCH-LC11, and the Novatel USB S51L — each confirmed by Verizon to arrive tomorrow March 31 — and you’ve got a pretty busy spring for Verizon.  See the full calendar below.

I’m glad Verizon never followed through with a Galaxy S II launch (though the leak would suggest otherwise). The move to score the third generation Nexus, Galaxy Nexus, is definitely the way to go. I’m curious to see how well the Droid RAZR does against the Galaxy Nexus if both phones are priced $299.99. Motorola claims an ICS update will hit the Droid RAZR in 1H12, but we know how these updates go — that means the last day of June 2012.
