HTC Evo 4G Reviewed: Android Superphone Worth Switching For

We’ve been eagerly waiting for this phone since it was unveiled at CTIA 2010 by Dan Hesse, CEO of Sprint, and Peter Chou, CEO of HTC. The HTC Evo 4G finally landed at the LAPTOP offices a few days ago and we’ve put it through the ringer. Overall, we came away impressed: it’s fast, the large 4.3 inch screen is a thing of beauty, and it works like a charm when it’s feeding on Sprint’s WiMax network. If you’ve been considering an Android handset, the Sprint network, or just this phone in particular, we can confidently say that it’s definitely worth the switch.

    I believe the idiom you meant was “we’ve put it through the wringer”, with a “w”.
