HP Unveils 8″ Smart Wi-Fi Display
January 6th, 2009 by K. T. Bradford
If you’ve ever considered buying a digital photo frame, but felt that it was too limited (even though it does far more than a static frame), HP’s new 8″ Smart Wi-Fi Display might be just what you’re looking for.
It’s not content to simply display photos, but can also play videos and music. Plus, it can connect to your home network, the Internet, or your cell phone to display images and video from popular photo sharing sites and social networks. You’ll also be able to play Internet radio.
More than a digital frame but not quite as powerful as a netbook, the HP 8″ Smart Wi-Fi Display fits comfortably into the digital frame with benefits class. It will be available in the spring and will be priced at $179.
