HP Pavilion dm3 Reviewed: Great Looks and Battery Life, Touchpad Not So Much

Its brushed aluminum chassis turns heads. And you’ll be able to show it off for up to 9 hours before having to hunt for an outlet, thanks to its ULV processor and long-lasting 6-cell batter. In a way the 4.2-pound HP Pavilion dm3 is a really nice value-priced alternative to the HP Envy 13. Unfortunately, the two 13-inch systems have something in common: a wonky touchpad. In fact, the dm3 touchpad’s mirrored surface made moving the cursor around the desktop a chore. Is this one flaw enough to pass on the dm3? Check out our full review here.
