HP Mini 1000 for less than $250
January 29th, 2009 by K. T. Bradford
We’re seeing quite a few netbook deals lately beyond the black NC10, including this HP Mini 1000 (actually 1010NR) for $225 after a $75 off coupon from Staples. This particular model has 512MB of RAM, an 8GB SSD, an Intel Atom N270, and comes with Windows XP installed. You can also get free delivery to your home or a store near you. This model only has an 8.9-inch screen, but as we learned the other day, people still dig that size if the netbook (and price) is right. The HP Mini is a solid performer and easily upgradable, will the smaller screen make that much of a difference?

They will not honor the $75.00 off on computers. You can order it with the coupon on the website, but they flag the order and explain that the coupon is not valid on computers
