I have an HP Laptop running Vista and absolutely love it. I wouldn't trade it in for anything. Of course, I have a desktop too, and that runs XP. It's an older computer, but I love Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse I have on it and wouldn't trade them in for anything in the world (except maybe if I could get a cordless mouse that has a recharger rather than one that eats batteries). In my mind, wireless keyboards and mice are absolutely essential computer accessories. Both currently appear over at UnSpun by Amazon in their new Most Essential Computer Accessory list.

I like the hot keys feature, although I’m surprised at the comment that this implies HP isn’t the biggest fan of Vista these days. I want to upgrade my HP laptop and I hate using Vista as my operating system but there seems to be limited HP options to run with Windows XP.

I don’t know why Microsoft and now HP ridiculously think it’s a good idea to change the layout of the editing keys (ins, del, home, end, pgup/dn). Thankfully there are still keyboards being made which respect the standard layout.
