Hands-On With the Sony VAIO TT
September 25th, 2008 by Jeffrey L. Wilson
We gave you the 411 on the new Sony VAIO TT series just a few days ago, and now the system is officially in-house. Before we sent it to our labs for a battery of tests, we decided to share our initial impressions of the machine, which mainly stemmed from its whopping $4,344 price tag. Granted, you get dual 128GB hard drives (which can be set to RAID configuration) and a hi-def optical drive, but we wonder if this is overkill for a machine that physically resembles a spit-shined mini-notebook. Still, the 11.1-inch VAIO TT has a lot going for it.
Check out the video after the jump for more info, and expect a full review shortly.

Thanks for the review – would have loved it if you did a sizemodo or size by side comparson of the two laptops as Sony like to publish the thin front end of their laptops as the dimensions not the thicker back hinge of the unit.

Anyone know what physical size the hard drive is? I’m curious if I can install a better one.
