On my U 200 got some stain on the screen , and little scratches from the keyboard, so IF YOU WANNA KEEP IT CLEAR USE SOME PROTECT LAYER BETWEEN SCREEN AND KEYBOARD. It looks nice but its pretty sensitive to scratches and little dust particles which get under the plastic cover so you cant remove it until open the whole display apart... which is not recommended. Battery life is great and light weight gives this little machine great usability. I don't agree that thermal management is poor, its pretty quite and not so hot. Reason is that this is still laptop with CPU cooler always ruining. And you can get scroll option from the touch pad if you instal lates synaptics win 7 drivers.

All in all for 340 euros Im pretty satisfied with mine

I bought msi u200 yesterday and the first thing noticed is that it is extremely hot when charging up the battery. the thermal management design is very bad and it still cost 500 euro in thailand now (may 2010) and still same price when it first launched in june 2009.

Just bought the MSI U200. It came with Vista Basic, yet still ran surprisingly fast. Due to its single core processor, the new Intel ULV 723, its battery life is remarkably long lasting for a Vista machine. I managed over 4 hours on wifi with MSN on, web browsing and word processing. With 3 USB sockets available are great, and the fact that they are appropriately separated, wider USB sticks do not get in the way of another USB socket. I had mine upgraded to 4Gb RAM and everything ran real smooth. All in all is a great little machine.

The bad points: (1) The notebook is not that well balanced. The large capacity battery which came with the machine (due to its elevated profile) causes the notebook to tilt backwards if you open up the LCD monitor too far back. (2) The functionality of the mouse pad is some what basic, having no ability/function to scroll by sliding your finger on the side, which is a pain.
