This is what I exactly was looking for last year for my wife. As a lawyer, she travels a lot for business presentation, meeting with clients. The only business application critical to her is Remote Access to her company's terminal server. She listens to internet radio when she was waiting at the air port. Too bad, this slim beauty Vaio X comes too late. I ended up buying her a Vaio TZ which weighted 2.6 lbs and costed her $2499 (CND). Vaio X is for people who is looking for extreme portability and productivity. In deed, it will be even desirable if it can perform multimeadia (particularly for HD content) better.

Like others, looks beautiful but for that price it should have had a CULV processor. The Atom is a serious compromise in performance--full screen Flash won't play smoothly for instance, don't care if its 2.0GHz or not. For a $399 netbook this is an acceptable compromise. For a $1300 laptop it is NOT.

Does look beautiful though. They won't sell many at that price though.
