Google Wave Opens Up To Everyone – Tsunami Jokes Expected Soon
May 19th, 2010 by K. T. Bradford
There was a lot of buzz about Google Wave last year (before there was such a thing as Google Buzz, even), some good, some bad. But the main issue most people had with the service (including us) was the lack of people on it. Waving without enough people to wave at was no fun, and pretty soon Wave faded into the background.
Now anyone and everyone can join. The floodgates are open not only to millions of web users but a ton of water-based puns. Will the sudden influx of users mean Wave is finally poised to become the new e-mail for the 21st century? I have to admit, the service has potential. I guess it’s time to dust off the old Wave account and see what’s new.
Are you going to sign up for Wave now that you can?
