Google Claus announced today that any Chrome user flying with AirTran, Delta, or Virgin America between November 20 and January 2, 2011 gets an in-flight Wi-Fi connection from GoGo Inflight for free.
The deal applies only to domestic flights, and Google anticipates the service will reach 700 planes and 15 million passengers before the special ends. GoGo’s Inflight Internet service costs $12.95 for a 24-hour pass, with smaller packages available in 90-minute, 3-hour, and 3-plus hour single-flight sessions.
