Today, Fujitsu announced a couple of changes to its notebook lineup. Starting with style, the LifeBook A6220 (starting at $1,299) is available with interchangeable lids, a feature Fujitsu pioneered with the LifeBook A1110. For $19.95 each user can add tartan lids in indigo, red, or gold to the A6220, a 15.4-inch notebook.Spec-wise, it’s offered with Centrino 2 CPUs, ATI graphics, a gesture-enabled touch pad, and an optional Blu-ray drive and fingerprint reader. In other news, two other laptops just got Centrino 2 upgrades: the P8020 (starting at $1,799) and the LifeBook T2020 (starting at $1,699). The 12.1-inch P8020 was already offered with up to 4GB of RAM and Intel’s WiFi link Wireless-N radio, but now it comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 ULV CPU and a gesture-enabled touch pad. It will also be offered with a solid-state drive later this year. The T2020, a 12.1-inch convertible tablet, will now be offered with Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 and SU9400 ULV processors, as well as an optional solid-state drive (also not available until later this year).
