Fujifilm Announces 16 New FinePix Cameras

Fujifilm just took the wraps off a ton of new products from budget-level point and shoots to DSLRs. To see what’s new and what’s coming check out below.
The FinePix AV200, AX300, and JV200 are the entry-level line. These budget models offer 720p video recording, automatic scene recognition, face detection, and motion panorama mode. The AV200 and JV200 offer 14-megapixel shooting with 3x optical zoom for $89.95 and 10.95, respectively. The AX300 includes 14-MP and 5x zoom for $89.95.
In the long-zoom category we have the $329.95 FinePix F500EXR and the $349.95 FinePix F550EXR. These 16-MP EXR-CMOS sensor and 15x super wide-angle lenses offer 1080p video recording, high-speed continuous shooting at 12 fps as well as high sensitivity and low noise with a 3-inch high-contrast LCD screen. The F550EXR also adds GPS geo-tagging to your photo fun.
The FinePix HS20EXR is the latest DSLR with a 16-MP EXR-CMOS sensor, 30x optical zoom, and a tilting 3-inch LCD. It offers continuous shooting at 8fps at full resolution and is capable of making full panoramic photos and HD movies at 1080p. It will run you $499.95 starting this March.
The $129.95 JX300 and $159.95 JX350 FinePix cameras offer 5x zoom and 720p HD movie capture capabilities in stylish packages. These puppies offer 2.7-inch LCD screens and a metal body. They feature 14-MP and 16-MP CCD with 5x wide angle optical zoom. Plus, the JX-Series offer Easy Web Upload for sorting through phtoos on the camera and deciding which to upload to Facebook and YouTube.
Fujifilm offers three new super-zoom HD cameras in the FinePix S2950, S3200, and S400. Thes 14-MP cameras offer 18x, 24x, and 30x lenses with dual image stabilization. They each sport 3-inch LCD screens and come with some fun social features such as in-camera tagging for both Facebook and YouTube. These three will run you between $229.95 and $279.95 this spring.
The new T-Series line includes the T200 and T300 with 10x long-zoom lenses. These super-thin cameras are a mere 18.5-mm thin and offer sensor shift image stabilization and HD movie capture. They feature 14-MP and come in grey and black, respectively. Not out till April, these guys are a mere $179.95 and $199.95.
Fujifilm steps it up in the rugged arena with the XP20 and XP30. The waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dustproof XP30 ($239.95) is the company’s first rugged camera with GPS geo-tagging. It includes 14-MP, 5x optical zoom shooting. The $199.95 XP20 rugged camera is only missing the GPS. And these two come in a variety of colors.
Finally, Fujifilm today unveils the Z90. This compact 3-inch touchscreen camera features a 14-MP CCD sensor and 5x optical zoom. It includes 720p HD movie capture and intuitive dual direction GUI for easy navigating and tap and shoot functions. It also looks nice in its slim metal chassis with chic horizontal sliding lens barrier.

Would be more accurate to refer to Fuji HS20EXR as DSLR-like (or better still, DSLR-shaped or DSLR-sized). Certainly there is no mirror in that camera…
