We’re talking about Ultrabooks, a new breed of Windows ultraportable that looks to stick it to the venerable MacBook Air. According to Intel, an Ultrabook must measure less than .8 inches thick. It should also use Intel’s Rapid Start Technology, which should dramatically reduce boot time and help Ultrabooks wake from sleep almost instantly.
So who is making these supersleek and responsive machines? Take a look at four Ultrabooks hitting stores this fall from Acer, Asus, Lenovo, and Toshiba and tell us which one is your favorite.

Not likely!
It is difficult to compete against established product from top company.
Another me too products will not work.

I think the key issue is the screen resolution. The Macbook Air is the only ultrabook that got it right (1400×900). 768 is simply not enough vertical pixels.
