Coming from the wrong industry- clinical healthcare, it may seem pretty weird at first that i am reviewing the firefox 3.

having been in contact with firefox since win98 days, i can assure you that, despite being free, firefox maintains a standard that simply cant be beat. Bugs are expressly solved and it rarely hangs. If it hangs in between somewhere, and cant recover, it is polite enought to ask to restore the session.

internet explorer is a good browser, i have nothing against it. but the functionality of IE stops so far short of normal when compared to firefox that it is a pain to use.

having used the firefox across suse linux red hat linux and of course win98,xp and now vista..
its kudos to all the firefox guys and gals out there..
for making such a great product..
you have an ardent fan in me...

I've use Firefox since Version 0.9 and use it for 99% of all my webbrowsing. Over time I have grown used to quite a few extensions. I would love to upgrade to Firefox 3, but I'll have to wait until the add-on developers upgrade their extension too.
Why, why why does every Firefox major release break the existing extensions - that is so annoying. As far as I can tell an extension to Firefox 1 didn't do much less or more than one that's plugged into Firefox 3 - that incomparability decision on behalf of the Firefox developers is ruining the whole experience.

I also like that when you close the window with tabs open it gives you the option to save the tabs.
