Facebook And Multiple Simultaneous Streams Coming To Netflix

We are moving one step closer to streaming multiple movies from our Netflix account and talking about it on Facebook. In a letter addressed to shareholders, Netflix spoke of a blowing past 20 million subscribers and what their plans are for the future. The biggest changes are expect to take Netflix from a household activity to a personal relationship.
According to the letter, Netflix is working on two key things this year to make the service more personal:
- Account options to watch multiple simultaneous streams
- Extensive Facebook integration
The simultaneous streaming option will appeal to families that want to take advantage of Netflix’s new $7.99 streaming only plan. Currently you can only stream to one device at a time. With this new option mom gets her sappy love stories, dad gets his action movies, and you get whatever you like to watch without waiting. There’s no word on exactly how the Facebook integration will work, but the move is part of Netflix’s plan to make the service more personal.
Look forward to the multiple simultaneous stream options later this year. From the sound’s of Netflix’s letter, you’ll see multiple streams before the Facebook integration. Are you looking forward to either of these options? Is Netflix personal enough for you?

Adding simultaneous streaming? It was available from the beginning with three at once from the lowest play now it has changed depending on how many dvds per month you can get. We used to stream on every room in the house until today and we’re very upset on having to pay more for something we used to have prior to today.
