Eyes-on with 3deep App for Windows Mobile
April 3rd, 2009 by Mark Spoonauer, LAPTOP Editor in Chief
Think of it as a connected, social, and location-aware address book. 3deep, an innovative application that’s in private beta for Windows Mobile devices, aims to make it simple to share your location, status (whether it’s within instant messgaing or Facebook) and preferred means of contact. The developer behind the app, LiteScape Technologies, didn’t have 3deep running on a device, but I got a good feel for what it could do through an interactive demo. Where does the 3deep name come from? The idea is that the app aggregates your calendar info, IM and social network status, and physical location to create a new breed of “deep” presence. Developers and carriers can hook into 3deep using a single API. A cool “Tell Me When” feature lets users make decisions on whether and how to get in touch with their contacts, whether its via a phone call, text message, e-mail, or instant messages. If you’re thinking Big Brother, don’t fret; 3deep promises that users will be able to decide how much info they want to share.

Well with this 3 deep , it is interesting to know that these mobile phone platforms are supported such as Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Android and, of course, the iPhone. It is more like a personal assistant. The idea behind using such 3 deep apps to aggregate calendars, contacts, IM and social network status.Think of [3deep] as a connected, social, and location-aware address book..
