I used the PS/2 32bit driver update from ASUS and it did not work. I did download the driver from the Elantech site, and that worked fine… go figure.

Just make sure you unzip it in the folder you will permanently keep it when you run the “setup.exe” program to install the new driver.

Go to your mouse icon in control panel, and hit the Elantech tab, and it will show a “PS/2 Mouse” for you EEE PC (at least on my 900 HD/XP)

Hi, which driver did you use?
The cpu is a 32-bit, but when I go to the website that you’ve put a link to I see that there is two different 32-bit versions. There is the ps/2 32 for bit and the usb for 32-bit.
Please help

I will certainly have to do this driver update when I get my 1000h. I can’t believe the value that this computer is. Multitouch. Freakin’ multitouch! The computer is now only $450, has 6 cell battery, webcam, atom processor, easily upgradeable ram, and multitouch! +1 to laptopmag for the review and +1 to ASUS for bringing multitouch to an inexpensive computer!

do you still recommend the MSI Wind over the Eee 1000H even though the eee has the multitouch for the same price? I find the multitouch really useful.
