I just stepped out of the Day 3 keynote here at CTIA Wireless. John Edwards and Fred Thompson took center stage to talk about, well, everything but wireless tech. Edwards, who spoke first, did a better job of addressing his crowd here. He discussed how connectivity affects us all. Interesting was his discussion about helping emerging markets through technology and how innovation in the wireless space pioneers global change. Thompson I don’t think mentioned the wireless industry once in his 15-minute speech. He did talk about the future of the Republican party and his potential return to Hollywood and movie making. That’s all I took away. The Q+A session also addressed the current campaign. Edwards skirted the question on who he plans to endorse. Both also said they wouldn’t be interested in being vice-presidential running mates. Who said anyone was asking?
