Dell’s Streak Family Gets Bigger: 7 and 10-inch Models Leaked

April 16th, 2010 by K. T. Bradford

Back when we spoke to Neeraj Choubey, general manager of tablets at Dell, he hinted that the Mini 5 (now the Dell Streak) wasn’t the only tablet under development at the company. Today Engadget got their hands on some images and an internal announcement that reveals some juicy details. Looks like the Dell Streak 5 will be joined by 7 and 10 inch models. No word yet on the OS running them, but we know that Dell likes Android, and Android makes a pretty spiffy tablet OS.

Along with this news Engadget also claims the 5-inch Streak will be out by the summer (sometime after the Dell Aero release in June). The 7-inch tablet will come out by the end of the year and and 10-inch follows in early 2011. So they say.

Of course Dell won’t confirm this information so we’ll have to wait and see if it all turns out to be true. In the meantime, are you at all interested in a 7 or 10-inch Android tablet from Dell? Maybe it’s best to reserve judgment until we see how well the 5-inch version fares.
