We’ve known about the Dell Streak 7 since it was introduced at CES 2011. However, today T-Mobile shared pricing and availability details for the upcoming Android slate. Starting February 2nd, you will be able to buy the tablet from T-Mobile for $199(after $50 rebate) with a 2-year contract or for $449 without a contract.

As with the Galaxy Tab, if you opt for the subsidized pricing, you’ll have two data plans to choose from, a 5GB, $39.99/month plan and a 200MB $24.99 / month fee, which we don’t recommend because it’s too easy to incur the .10 per MB overage charge. Both plans come with mobile hotspot service and unlimited SMS messaging. Non-contract users will be able to buy a 100MB weekly pass for $10, 1GB monthly pass for $50, or 300MB monthly pass for $30.

As previously revealed, the Streak 7 features:

  • A 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive screen
  • Dual-core 1-GHz Tegra 2 CPU
  • T-Mobile 4G HSPA+ service
  • Front (1.3-MP) and back (5-MP) webcams
  • 16GB of Memory
  • Android 2.2 with Dell Stage Software

At $199 subsidized the Dell Streak is $50 cheaper on T-Mobile than the $249 Samsung Galaxy Tab. Its $449 unsubsidized price is also significantly less expensive than the Tab’s $599 MSRP on T-Mobile, though the Tab’s non-contract price is rumored to drop to $499 soon.
