Dell Mini 10: The Best Dell Mini Yet?
January 9th, 2009 by K. T. Bradford
Dell’s Mini 10 netbook is looking mighty flashy. Edge-to-edge 16:9 HD 720p 10-inch display and an edge-to-edge keyboard — snazzy! And it’ll come in an array of colors and design studio choices.
The insides are pretty impressive, too, with the key word being: integration. Integrated GPS, integrated mobile broadband, integrated TV tuner! Plus the touchpad has “exclusive gestures.” The netbook is speced with an Intel Atom Z530 processor and 802.11b/g/n. That is a pretty impressive array of things to have inside a netbook.
No word yet on what this will all cost, but I’m guessing the number will not be under $500. Let’s just hope that the Dell “Perfect 10″ doesn’t include a perfect $1,000 price tag. Here is to hoping we get to see one before the show ends!

DO NOT order the Mini10…Dell has a huge shortage on these netbooks and I have been waiting over 40 days for it….terrible Customer Service. I ordered on May 11th and I still have not received mine yet….Dell.com shows estimated delivery date of 6/30/09

My Dell Mini 10 with the HDTV tuner did not ship with an aerial. Tech says it has a built in aerial and should work without an external aerial. Not so. I borrowed tne aerial from my HP HDX and the Mini tuner worked beautifully. I could not find one to buy on the Dell web site either. I live in NY City and if you can not get a signal here it means it is broken

I still have not received my mini 10 aerial for my tv tuner. Tech reps keep calling but have nothing to tell me about when I will receive the aerial. They are clueless. Good luck if you ordered a mini 10 with a GPS.
