Dell Mini 10 Now Available with Ubuntu and SSD Option
May 7th, 2009 by Joanna Stern
We have been watching Dell slowly but surely add features to its Dell Inspiron Mini 10, including a six-cell battery a few weeks ago. As of today, though we aren’t sure what took so long, Dell is now offering the Mini 10 with its tailored Ubuntu operating system and solid state drive options starting at $399.
Additionally, the Ubuntu version of the Mini 10 also gets some additional hard drive options including a 32GB ( for $75) and 64GB ( for$125). You cannot get the Windows XP Mini 10 with these drive options.
Dell has also added a bigger 3-cell option (28WHr), which costs an extra $15, “that gets about 25 percent longer battery life (just under four hours) than the base 24WHr battery.” The Mini 10 is also available with an 1366 x 768 resolution HD display for an extra $35.
Keep it coming, Dell. Keep it coming.

I am looking for a Dell Mini 10 that has been returned, dented or is still unboxed. I am a teacher of special needs students at the Corwin Russell School in Sudbury, MA. 01776
