Dell Inspiron Mini Roadmap Leaked, Mini 11 in the Works?

April 6th, 2009 by Joanna Stern

dellleaksDell has been building out its Inspiron Mini netbook line bit by bit and it looks like an extended family is in the works. Internal Dell company slides were leaked to our friend Sascha at www.netbooknews.de.

The slides indicate that different versions of the Mini 10 are in the works and that a Mini 11 with an 11-inch display isn’t too far behind.

According to the slides a Mini 1010v (Bear) with a 10inch display will be released in May. Unlike the current Mini 10 it will have the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 120GB, 160GB and SSD hard drive options and will start at $299. Also on the Mini 10 roadmap is the Mini 1010 (Tiger) with Intel’s Atom Z family of processors (1.3GHz, 1.6GHz, and 1.8GHz) and Vista options.  It will also have the GPS, TV tuner and six cell battery options that were originally announced with the Mini 10 at CES.

The most interesting is the Mini 1110 (Argos) that will have a “very thin and light” build and will sport a 11.6-inch HD display. Starting at $499, it will have 2GB of memory and run Microsoft Vista. See the leaked slides in the gallery below.
