Oh how soon we forget: Remember the good old Dell Latitude X300?
My new 1.6 Mini-12 w/ WinXP battles to win big points when compared
side-by-side with any of my several X300's, all still running exquisitely
after all these many many years. My old X300s have lasted and lasted
and lasted. 1.4CPU, 40-60gig HD, 12" screen, 640 to 1gig RAM, and all but
two with original batteries and none weighing more than 2.9 lbs -- well, with
prices in the $300-$450 range on Ebay, these old X300 workhorses continue
even now to give my sleek Mini-12 a run for the money. Yup, even after 8
years! ~Charles Hedbring, SegPT.com

It doesn't run OS X, but it can come with Ubuntu Linux which for netbook type use is as good, and I like the politics.

This laptop looks incredible, now if it only had the ability to run OS X! (It can't because the GPU isn't compatible), as far as I know.
