dellnickelodeon1What’s better than a night filled with Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, and Pete and Pete? Nothing. But Dell just released a Nickelodeon Netbook. Dell today introduced a new Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition netbook, which is nearly identical to the Dell Mini 10v but designed for kids. It’s available in three different designs, one for iCarly fans, another for SpongeBob SquarePants viewers, and our favorite: a Nickelodeon slime version that features a green splash on the lid and key rest. The Nickelodeon Edition netbook will feature an easy to use interface developed by Stardock Systems that’s branded with Nickelodeon wallpaper and icons and offers quick access to Nick’s Web portals. It will also have educational software from Whyville.net which lets kids play educational games from the likes of NASA and Scholastic Publishing. Parents can also use a 15-month trial of McAffee Family Security to monitor their kids’ usage and set parental controls. The Nickelodeon edition netbook will be available in Walmart and at Dell.com starting at $300.
