CTL 2go PC UW1 To Be Added to 10-Inch Netbook List

CTL is pumping out another netbook, but those that were looking for another groundbreaking entry like the CTL 2go Convertible Classmate PC will have to keep on waiting. Sorry CTL, but the 2goPC UW1′s specs are as mundane as its name. The all-black 10-inch netbook will sport a  16:9 resolution screen (1024×576).  And according to CTL the 2.6 pound system has an 85 percent full sized keyboard. From the images, it appears that its trackpad is quite vertically narrow and that its mouse buttons are located to the right and left of the pad, like the HP Mini and the 8.9-inch Acer Aspire One. On the specs side, it has the typical 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor,  1GB of RAM, Windows XP and a 5,400 rpm 160GB hard drive. It will come standard with a six-cell battery.  The CTL 2go PC UW1 will retail for $399 and will begin shipping on May 11.
