Control Your Phone Online with Dashwire
April 3rd, 2008 by Avram Piltch
You’ve heard of putting the Web on your phone, but how about putting your phone on the Web?
Dashwire is an application which automatically synchronizes your Windows Mobile phone with a Web-based control panel. Whenever you receive a text message, enter a new contact into your phone, take a new photo, or change a ringtone, Dashwire knows and stores that information online where you can easily manipulate or share it.
But the connection between your phone and Dashwire doesn’t only go one way. You can also use the Dashwire site to control your phone, changing contact lists, speed dials, and ring tones from the Web.
The Dashwire service is in public beta now so you can try it yourself.
