Coby Kyros Android Tablets Now Available for Pre-Order, Starting at $172

Coby Electronics have unveiled their latest Kyros tablet lineup on their website and after some sleuthing by Androidtablets.net 4 of the 5 devices have been found available for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of March 15. The lineup includes a variety of screen sizes, screen resolutions and screen types all running Android 2.3 on a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM and HDMI connection.

While these aren’t exactly the most anticipated products and won’t be Google certified with access to the Google apps and Android Market, the price might be low enough to entice more than a few buyers. The lower end MID7025 with a 7″ resistive screen and 800×480 resolution is available for pre-order at $172.99 while the highest end model, the MID1025, which features a 10.1″ capacitive screen and 1024×600 resolution is available for $259.99. Other models include the $172.99 MID7026 with its 800 x 600 resistive screen and the $190.99 MID8025 which has an 8-inch 800×600 display.
