How do you get Ubuntu to recognize your internal Wi-Fi adapter? I've installed it in a seperate partition, but I usually do not boot up to Ubuntu, because it refuses to recognize my internal Wi-Fi adapter and so I mostly use Windows XP that is installed on the primary partition.
Any ideas on what I can do to get the Ubuntu to recognize the Wi-Fi adapter so I can begin enjoying it wirelessly?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This cloudbook is great hardware. But the gOS is Stinking. I have a warning for all of those that might be out there in cloudbook land. Do not modify screen settings! If you lose the original 800x460 mode you might have to send it back to the manufacturer. I called tech support and they actually suggested maybe loading a different OS.

gOS is as wilma goddess of all geeks "Janky!!"

I was looking forward to the Cloudbook but finally got an EeePC 4G with webcam. It's great! I didn't really like the Xandros OS but decided to keep it anyway so I installed Ubuntu on a SDHC 4GB (until I get a 32GB) and Ubuntu works great! I have it dual booting with Xandros. Even with Ubuntu you have to use the Alt+click to move the window sometimes because the 800x480 isn't a standard screen size, but it's not a problem. And in most cases you can increase the font size with Ctrl++ to ease eye strain (I need glasses). You will need to tweak it for Ubuntu to recognize some stuff but the Ubuntu community site has it covered and it will probably be the same for the Cloudbook. BTW, jr accidentally pushed my EeePC off the kitchen table while my back was turned. I heard the crash, picked up my Eee and it was still running fine, just has a scratch on the corner of the lid/screen where it hit the floor, it didn't even flinch, my mom was talking to me on Skype at the time... Try that with a full size laptop!!!

The CB should run itunes fine, my eeePC runs it fine with the exception of video performance with certain movies/ music videos. I have a stock setup aside from my 16gb SDHC. Given its specs are double operating speed of the eee and half the L2 cache (the fsb is same speed according to newegg but wiki for the chip maker states a higher fsb ) either way it should be relatively the same performance under heavy usage (it may prove a tad speedier for regular docs and browsing) i love my eee but afraid the inlaws in Mexico may want it when I go. One more thing I do light Photoshop and Acrobat and it does everything Fine (even with the stock 512MB I rarely go above 400 in usage)

I agree with you Patrick. The first thing I would do it wipe out GOS and put pure Ubuntu on
it anyways. Thats what I wish they could do for the review

It is pretty evident that gOS (at least the version you're testing) is not up-to-par. What really needs to be tested is Windows; that would unmask the faults in gOS and give a true "comparative" quality to this review. It just seems wrong to judge the cloudbook based on what, quite possibly, could be an unstable/incorrect OS. Thats my 2 cents anyway.

Do you mean "back and forward" instead of "forward and next"?
