ClamCase: Turn Your iPad into a Convertible Netbook
May 6th, 2010 by Meghan J. McDonough, LAPTOP Web Producer/Writer
First came the claim that iPads were killing off netbooks. Now, ClamCase has leveraged the iPad’s Bluetooth ability to make your iPad look like a netbook. Actually, more like a convertible tablet netbook. In addition to providing the iPad with nice protection, the ClamCase essentially gives the iPad the aesthetic of a convertible tablet. Use it like a traditional notebook, or swivel it around on the hinge to put it in tablet mode. Since, you know, the iPad was meant for “tablet mode.” Sadly, the awesome video below is just a render of what the final ClamCase will look like when it debuts this fall, but we have high hopes for this and other Bluetooth keyboards that will surely pop-up soon.
