I’m having many problems. First, I have tried for two days to log in to the Flip site but cannot. Also, vids get stored in the flip folder but cannot be uploaded to the flip page to make a video. Vids cannot be downloaded on to my camcorder AND when new vids are added to my channel, notifications sent to me in an email take me to a dead end web page. Great product but major software issues.

You are incorrect about the battery on the Ultra. Battery is rechargeable but Double As are optional if your rechargeable dies.

Thanks. Useful review. Anyone care to comment on which is more stable/reliable when using the tripod accesory: Mino or Ultra?

has anyone recieved problems with the mino breaking after about four to six weeks. i think i m going to get this for christmas and i m concerned if this is going to break on me. on a scale of 1-10, how do u rate the mino. please get back to me

The comparison videos above are crap. Who ever compressed them are idiots for doing it on this review. Check Vimeo.com search Flip Mino and you’ll see good quality samples.

I have both….the mino is smaller with very similar video quality however the sound is very tinny with NO loe end at all. the Ultra has a much Fuller sound quality even though the Mino uses an Omnidirectional mic I like the Ultra’s sound much better. If they could combine the sound they would be right there. Listen to the videos above and you’ll see what I mean. Good Luck

Maybe they used a lower quality setting for the fountain? I thought my computer just wasnt loading it well lol
