I am always pushing, looking for the latest, especially if it is Lenovo’s latest ThinkPad X-series notebook. I purchased my X61, x200 as soon as I could, ordering it from Lenovo within days of it being posted. Waited seven hours (four in one AT&T location, three in a different Apple one) for the iPhone 3G. I am both a gadget freak and looking for an edge (as my small firm competes with big ones) in business; using technology to help close the resource gap in my field of business. If I wait for something I want it is usually because the feature I desire has been delayed (like Broadband in a netbook; my present target is the Sony Vaio P, but I am hesitant because the U.S. market is initially getting the slower version, while Sony has already posted the 1.6-Ghz version on its U.K. site. As much as I want the P now for its size and weight - I still have my NEC 750, 770 and 900c and HP Jornada 820 plugged in in my basement so they do not lose their charge and data - I may hold off for a chance at a faster version and belief that in this economy, prices will drop.
