BlackBerry Storm 2 to Offer Wi-Fi and New Screen: Too Little, Too Late?
April 8th, 2009 by Todd Haselton
There’s been buzz all day about a possible second coming of the BlackBerry Storm, a phone that was released with a fair share of bugs and a less-than-satisfactory display. According to an interview with unwiredview, a RIM spokesperson told the site that the second version of the Storm would become available in the Netherlands at the end of the year or at the start of 2010, and that the device would offer a “new way of typing.” We hope that means an improved touchscreen that offers the ability to depress it in not just one, but two areas, to end what I like to call the seesaw effect when typing, which forces you to press with one finger first and then another to type. Other sites have pondered whether it would feature a full keyboard in addition to the improved display. We’re afraid these enhancements might be too little, too late. Wi-Fi support hasn’t been confirmed, but we wouldn’t mind seeing that in addition to an improved display as well. unwiredview via CNET

Too little, too late for what?

I totally agree with the editing feature in Black Berry Storm. I’ve been struggling with the text feature of Iphone especially if you are used to Nokia or Sony Ericsson brands.Wait till you see the integrated and WiFi feature and the improve SureTouch feature. These new features will definitely redeem Storm.
Btw, I just want to share this information I found which is definitely useful for Storm users. There is an All Blackberry Storm Apps that do not require any compatibility mode. It has a Cool Call Blocker application, useful tip calculator, Typing speed application, a bartender app that tells you what drinks you can make based on what you have in your kitchen and even a super-quick and bright flashlight app!
This is a must have for Blackberry Storm fanatics!

LOL…why would it be too little, too late??? That’s stupid. The only way a smart phone would ever be rendered “too little, too late” if it’s premier features were (at best) voicemail and text messaging….which obviously isn’t. As long as any product is good and “up to the times”….. it’s never too late.
LOL….I remember listening to Leo Laporte and Paul Thurotte claiming that Palm’s entry of the “Pre” was too little too late as if Palm was an outdated company along with any product they come out with.
