Black Friday 2011 Laptop Deal: 15.6-inch Lenovo G575 for $179 at Best Buy
November 22nd, 2011 by Davey Alba, LAPTOP Staff Writer Gearing up for a laptop purchase this Black Friday, but not sure which deal will give you the best value for your hard-earned cash? Well, we’ve dug that up for you so you don’t have to do the work.
The Lenovo G575-438343U in Best Buy stores will cost you only $179, and is a very solid option for a full-size, 15.6-inch laptop. Hiding under the hood is a decent AMD E-300 1.3GHz dual-core processor–capable enough for everyday computing tasks and light gaming. It’s also got a 1366×768 display resolution, DVD burner, a 0.3-megapixel web camera, four USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, MMC/SD card reader, and a full-size keyboard with a numeric pad. The one missing thing that you might look for is an HDMI port, but all told the G575-438343U is still undoubtedly a steal.
Best Buy’s print ad states that it will provide about 10 units of the laptop in each of its brick-and-mortar stores. If you’re interested in a cheap but sturdy notebook, be sure to keep your eyes open for the G575-438343U this Black Friday.
