Top 30 Tablet Apps for Kids
Drawing Pad (Ages 2 to 5)
This app is cheaper than a box of crayons and a heck of a lot less messy. Let your child get their creativity on with “Drawing Pad,” which lets kids customize their palette with virtual markers, crayons, paintbrushes, colored pencils, stickers and roller pens. They can work on several drawings at once, or come back to an unfinished masterpiece later.

Thanks for posting on these great apps, Molly. I think I will check out a few of these after I get home from my shift at DISH later tonight. There’s another app that our toddler loves that’s great for our whole family. It’s called DISH Anywhere, and we use it to stream live TV or DVR recordings to our phones and tablets. Last week I was doing some errands, when my toddler started getting fussy in the back seat. I pulled her favorite episode of Dora the Explorer up on the DVR and handed her the iPad. She was happily entertained until we got home.
