Top 30 Tablet Apps for Kids

Baby Soother (Baby)

Getting your baby to sleep can be a challenge for any parent. For those who don’t particularly like hearing themselves sing a lullaby, there’s “Baby Soother,” the iOS app that lulls your little one to sleep with mesmerizing music, motions and sounds. Featuring such popular children’s songs as “Did You Ever See a Lassie” and “Have You Seen the Muffin Man,” the app lets parents select how long they’d like it to play for up to an hour.

Thanks for posting on these great apps, Molly. I think I will check out a few of these after I get home from my shift at DISH later tonight. There’s another app that our toddler loves that’s great for our whole family. It’s called DISH Anywhere, and we use it to stream live TV or DVR recordings to our phones and tablets. Last week I was doing some errands, when my toddler started getting fussy in the back seat. I pulled her favorite episode of Dora the Explorer up on the DVR and handed her the iPad. She was happily entertained until we got home.
