Best, Most Useless iPhone Application: PhoneSaber
July 10th, 2008 by Joanna Stern
While working on a post for my favorite iPhone applications, I came across one app that was just too amazing not to talk about right away. Hold on to your seats Star Wars lovers (including you, YouTube Star Wars Kid), because you can turn your iPhone into a PhoneSaber. No, seriously, that’s exactly what TheMacBox calls its application.
We preface this short review by saying the 0.8MB application is free. We did not spend our hard-earned money on becoming mobile Jedi masters. Here’s how it works: as you swing your phone, a range of light saber sound effects come out of the iPhone’s speakers. You can change the color of the saber on the left side. Saber colors include: blue, green, red, purple, and yellow.
When you are not swinging the phone—I mean saber—you get some nice high-tech background noise. But words cannot detail this application. Check out the video of my fight with iPhone lightsaber-wanting Haselton.

This was almost the first app my husband and I installed on our iPhones; it almost makes up for the fact that nobody has figured out how to synch Google Calendar easily with the iPhone Calendar, which is much easier to update on the fly.

Hey your app is very cool. I am also adding on app for the babyphone for iPhone have a look on it.
The main screen of Babyphone shows the current status, the microphone sensitivity and the threshold for triggering the alarm.
If the Microphone’s display reaches or exceeds the set threshold, the previously defined phone number will be called. After completion of the call and the expiration of the delay Babyphone will reactivate itself again.
In the settings you can enter the number to call. In addition, there is a sleeping interval with an adjustable delay in minutes, after which Babyphone will reactivate itself again.

Don’t you think Apple has made it easy for people to earn some quick cash. I’m an iPhone Application Developer myself. At least it worked for me
