Ultrabooks right now are a dime a dozen, so manufacturers are starting to step up to make theirs stand out in a crowd. The HP Envy 14 Spectre ($1,399) definitely does that with its glass lid and palm rest. And its strengths go beyond just a sleek design; the laptop also flaunts a comfy backlit keyboard, a bright display, good audio and solid performance. We wished the graphics were better, though, and that it didn't pick up so many fingerprints.
