The terms "hit game" and "lawyer simulator" aren't typically mentioned in the same breath, but Capcom made it work with its quirky "Ace Attorney" franchise. Originally debuting on the Nintendo DS, the "Ace Attorney" games cast you as Phoenix Wright, a lawyer who must investigate crime scenes, analyze evidence and interrogate witnesses in order to achieve justice for his clients. "Ace Attorney" takes advantage of the iPad to allow for two different play views: Landscape mode for a bigger picture, or portrait mode for the two-screen experience from the DS games. After sampling the "Ace" games for free, you can buy each installment for less than $7 individually, or pick up the whole series for $16.99.
