This list is terrible. You would write that the iPhone has a mindblowingly nice screen before saying the HTC One does? Especially with how small it is? The iPhone is NOT the king of the AT&T line-up, the HTC One is.
How is the HTC One King of AT&T’s line up Phil? The iPhone 5S outsold the HTC One. The iPhone has been AT&T’s cash cow since 2007. Even with the multitude of carriers offering the iPhone, it still sells quite well on AT&T,
If this is a list of the six ‘best’ selling phones that can be had from AT&T, then I feel short changed. I was hoping that this was a list of the six ‘best’ phones based on capabilities, ergo, the king would be the most capable phone. The number of phones purchased by the sometimes-gullible general population, should not be a factor if we are considering capabilities. I believe that is what Cherlynn was so aptly doing here.
Comparing cel phone plans is like comparing apples and oranges after they’ve already been run through a juicer and mixed with other fruit.
You have to factor the promotonal rate, the cost of buying the phone up-front vs. subsidizing, how much data you really need, the level of coverage available to you, the performance of the carrier in your area, and whether or not they carry/support the phone you would like to use. Every user’s situation is different, and there is no single “best” plan or carrier.
In our case after the math was done and we got down to an apples to apples comparison, all of the major carriers came to within a couple of dollars of each other. It came down to who had the handset we wanted and the service we needed. If we had wanted to keep our current phones, a different carrier would have made more sense. Nearly every vairable leads to a differnt conclusion.
