Bccthis for BlackBerry Hands-on: A Real Time-Saver

We really like Bccthis for Outlook, and we love it in on BlackBerry. This clever app lets you have side conversations with the people you bcc in e-mails, so you don’t have to forward a separate message to a collegaure or client. All you have to do is download the app, and it integrates with your BlackBerry e-mail. From there you just check off Bccthis contacts when composing messages, click “Edit bccthis message” (displayed to the right of the logo), and start typing.

Of course, the other person doesn’t need to have Bccthis installed to read the forwarded text; it will just appear in the body of the e-mail. If you do have the app installed, when you receive a Bccthis message you’ll see “Click to view this bccthis message” next to the logo. This approach looks better but requires an extra step. If you spend a lot of time in your BlackBerry inbox, which is pretty much everyone, this free download is a must.
